This week, we discussed the core competencies for health professions education, as well as nursing informatics and how it has been influenced by professional development. Consider the remaining competencies: patient-centered care, collaboration in multidisciplinary teams, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement. Choose one of these competencies and describe the changes made by nursing to achieve the competency. Use the South University Library to locate peer-reviewed publications that describe the programs’ development or outcomes.
