You should NOT simply summarize a topic’s readings.

– but you should evaluate the readings critically based on the Blackboard discussions and your readings of the author’s point of view.

– Assess the methodology, conclusions, and consistency of theoretical perspectives and hypotheses.

– explanations of development, as well as alternatives for where a perspective “falls short.”

– Also, consider how the readings might influence clinical practice and research.

When you are the discussion leader, you are not permitted to write a thought paper for the session.
