Our professional portfolio will be organized around the nine essentials of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN). Reflect on how your learning experiences and portfolio selections relate to, or meet, each essential and across the nursing program as a whole in these portfolio submissions. For more information, consult the RN Student Handbook. Because this is a Capstone course, you may revise previously submitted “Essentials” assignments, but you must provide both original and updated versions.

Write a paragraph reflection on each AACN Essential that has been assigned to you.

Determine how each of the essentials was met during your nursing program.

Give at least one example for each of the essentials that must be completed.
Organize by associating each example with its essential outcome.
