PART 1: Visit your state nurses’ association’s website and look for information on collective bargaining. In your state, look for recent news articles, union websites, and other information about collective bargaining for nurses. In your state, is there a lot of collective bargaining going on? If not, what is the reasoning? If so, what are the main points being debated?

PART 2: Consider the benefits and drawbacks of joining a labour union. Would you want to join a union if you worked as a full-time staff nurse? What is your reasoning for doing so?
