Strategies for Interprofessional Collaboration: When you post this week, you might want to think about the following questions:

Communication

The concept of presence, or being fully present in a conversation, is one in nursing that speaks to communication. The presence of the nurse improves the relationship between the nurse and the patient or client, making the interaction more meaningful and “resulting in a deep, personal connection for both participants” (Hood, 2018, p. 85). What happens to cause this interaction? What effect did it have on you and/or the patient? “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel,” Maya Angelou said, which is frequently quoted on social media and elsewhere.
