Collect relevant information on the issue in your neighborhood.
Determine what assets (strengths) your community has that may be used to solve the problem. Identify people in your community who can help you solve the situation.
Together with your students, brainstorm solutions to the challenge you mentioned before. What kind of interventions could you make in your neighborhood or at the college you attend?
Determine the data that will be needed to see if the interventions you identified were successful in solving the problem.
