Description: You will communicate a healthcare advocacy plan in this unit. Instructions: The information you provided in the Unit 3 Discussion will be used to get in touch with one or more local healthcare agencies (such as a county health department) or healthcare facilities (such as a clinic, hospital, or nursing home) to conduct research on two or three healthcare issues affecting the local community. In a memorandum to your local health department, outline a healthcare advocacy strategy that takes into account the findings of your investigation. Include a description of the problems that your community is experiencing, possible solutions to the problem, and how you would ethically advocate for the affected population. You must include a minimum of five justifications. You must conduct thorough research into the specific issues that have been presented using credible sources (e.g., Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute of Health, Census Bureau, etc.). A summary of your findings should be included in a three-page paper, and you should include at least three credible references to back up your findings.
