Examine the Topic Materials and develop a PICOT statement for your capstone project.

A PICOT begins with a specific patient population in a specific clinical area and identifies clinical problems or issues that arise as a result of clinical care. The intervention should be a distinct, well-defined nursing change intervention. A provider prescription is not required for the intervention. Include a comparison to a patient population that is not currently receiving the intervention, as well as a timeframe for implementing the change process.

Use the PICOT format provided in the assigned readings to create a PICOT statement. The PICOT statement will serve as the foundation for your capstone project.

Identify the clinical problem and how it can result in a positive patient outcome in a 500-750 word paper.
