To choose a theory that is appropriate for the setting you have chosen, use the six criteria listed below:

• Clinical environment

• Theory’s genesis

• Paradigms as a basis for decision-making

• Convenience

• The patient’s requirements

• Comprehensibility

Explain your choice of practice or clinical setting, how the six criteria aided your decision, and why the selected theory is well suited to it.

Cite at least two sources in the text and include an APA-formatted references page or slide.
