Assume you are Masayoshi Son, and you must choose a decision-making style. Go through the Vroom-Yetton model’s seven questions and give your answers based on what you believe the main issues are in deciding whether or not to purchase T-Mobile. Explain your reasoning for each response.
Examine the Vroom-Yetton model diagram and, based on your answers to the seven questions in Question 1, determine what kind of decision-making style is recommended for Masayoshi Son. Use the diagram (Figure 6.2) from Rigolosi on page 118. (2005). Are you taken aback by this response? Is this the type of decision-making style you would recommend based on your own research?
Finish your paper by discussing your own thoughts on the Vroom-Yetton model’s utility in determining your decision-making style. Do you think corporate executives should be trained in this model? Is there anything you think the model could be improved on? Describe your reasoning.
