Bladder and Lower Urinary Tract Disorders

Alvita is an elderly woman who lives in a nursing facility. She can walk slowly around the house with the use of a walker, but she prefers it when her daughter holds her arm and walks with her. Alvita’s kid assists her while a member of the medical staff changes her. Alvita’s incontinence has been worse over the previous six years since she’s been at the nursing home. Alvita, on the other hand, can laugh about her incontinence and claims that it started when she was a young woman, shortly after the birth of her second daughter.

Alvita has restricted movement. What impact does this have on elderly continence?
Alvita began to experience moderate incontinence shortly after the birth of her second daughter, particularly after laughing or coughing. What was she going through? What is the etiology of incontinence like this?
