The goal of this assignment is to write and submit a thorough rough draft of your Nursing Theory Comparison paper in APA format. Choose a grand nursing theory based on the reading assignment (McEwen & Wills, Theoretical Basis for Nursing, Unit II: Nursing Theories, chapters 6–9).
After studying and analyzing the approved theory, write about it, including an overview of the theory as well as specific examples of how it could be used in your own clinical setting.
Choose a middle-range theory based on the reading assignment (McEwen & Wills, Theoretical Basis for Nursing, Unit II: Nursing Theories, chapters 10 and 11).

Significant assumptions, concepts, and relationships

A comparison of the applications of both theories in nursing practice
Examples of how both theories could be applied in your particular clinical setting

References: Use the course text as well as at least three additional sources, all of which should be listed in APA format.
The paper should be 8–10 pages long and based on theories approved by the instructor. It should be typed in Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced, and with 1 inch margins. A properly formatted cover page, in-text citations, and a reference list must be used in APA format. It is also necessary to use headings correctly in APA format.
