4. PART 1: Go to the website of your state nurses’ association and look for information on collective bargaining. Look for recent news articles, union websites, and other information on collective bargaining for nurses in your state. Is there a lot of collective bargaining in your state? If not, what is the reason? If so, what are the main issues being discussed?

PART 2: Consider the advantages and disadvantages of joining a collective bargaining unit. Would you want to join a union if you were a full-time staff nurse? Why or why not?
