However, for millions of the elderly, living longer can also mean a debilitating physical decline that necessitates an enormous amount of care. After reading the document on ageing theories and watching the caregiver video, answer the following questions:
• Compare and contrast two aging theories as they relate to the role of the caregiver.
• What is one thing you learned that you did not know before?
• What is the one piece of information that you believe will have the greatest impact on your nursing practice?
