Discuss your library research strategies, as well as a brief summary of the literature you have read so far.
You will be tasked with creating a research proposal. Identify a problem that is specific to your role option and that is amenable to an innovative solution. This is the focus of this week’s activity.
An example of a potential problem (Interdisciplinary collaboration and interprofessional education (IPE) are essential for transforming health care, according to the role of the Family Nurse Practitioner). Nurse practitioner (NP) students have had limited exposure to IPE. This is something that will be investigated further through nursing research. Starting with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) position statement on nursing research (http://www.nche.edu/publications/position/nursing-research), you can learn more about the importance of nursing research.
After that, go to South’s Online Library and conduct a search for a minimum of three nursing research articles that have addressed the problem you’ve identified so far. The literature must be no more than five years old to be considered current. Respond to the following questions after you have finished reading the literature:
Mention the specific responsibilities you have and a brief description of the problem you are interested in researching and why it is of interest to you.
Discuss your library research strategies, as well as a brief summary of the literature you have read so far. Consider focusing your discussion on the â€problem,†as well as how the literature you reviewed provides evidence of the problem’s existence.
Make mention of a potential innovation that you might consider as a solution to the problem that has been identified in your discussion.
Citations and references should be formatted in APA style, with citations used where appropriate.
